Women's Cross Country Wins Missouri Southern Stampede Saturday - Tulsa Official Athletic SitePublished by
Sept. 21, 2013 JOPLIN, Mo. - Sophomore Rachel Baptista finished first among Division I runners with a 5K time of 17:02.13 to lead the Tulsa women's cross country team to a victory over Oklahoma at the Missouri Southern Stampede Saturday at the MSSU Cross Country Course. The Golden Hurricane swept the scoring over the Sooners, earning 15 team points to OU's 47 points. Freshman Stacie Taylor placed behind Baptista with a time of 17:31.15, junior Brandi Kriegran a 17:37.74, senior Katherine Camp finished the 5K in 17:39.43, and freshman Clara Langleyrounded out the TU scoring with a time of 17:39.58.
